White County High School Warriors and Warriorettes split with Siegel

On Dec. 2, the White County High School Warriors and Warriorettes took to the hardwood to take on non-conference Siegal High School. The teams split as the Warriorettes continued their winning ways.  The Warriors lost to a very good Siegal team.

The Warriorettes completely dominated every area of the game as they won by a final score of 78-36.  Gracie Dodgen led the Warriorettes in scoring with 17 points.  Kendreah Reeves followed with 10 points in the win.  Lexi Golden and Alania Stiles each had nine points.  Nia Powers and Mia Murray scored eight points.  Morgan Quick, Jensine Lane, and Julia Curtis each had four points.  Kanden Reeves scored three points.  Andi Haston and Addison Frazier scored one point each to round out the scoring.  The Warriorettes were 18-39 in two-point shots for a shooting percentage of 46 percent.  From behind the arc they hit 10 of 24 for 42 percent.  The total field goal percentage was 44 percent as they went 28 of 63 from the field.  Free throw percentage was 71 percent as the Warriorettes shot 12 of 17 from the stripe.  The defense held Siegel to only 12 shots made from the field.  Siegal was 12 of 50 from the free-throw line for 24 percent.

Kade Clark finding Kegen Dodson vs. Seigel

The Warriors lost to a very good Siegal team on Monday night.  The final score was 60-73.  Grant Slatten had 27 points.  Kade Clark scored 14 points in the loss.  Masyn Winningham and Kegan Dodson scored six each.  Micah Webster had five points, and Austin Burchett scored two points to finish the scoring.  The Warriors were 17 of 23 from two-point shots.  The Warriors shot 30 percent from the three-point line as the went six for 20 from beyond the arc.  Free throw shooting was 57  as they went eight for 14 from the line.  The Warriors finished with 54 percent shooting percentage from the field as they went 23 of 43 in shooting on the night.
