Who are we and what forms us?

In the beginning, God CREATED man and then from his rib he CREATED woman. The man was male and the woman was female. They were commanded by God to multiply and replenish the earth. Together they had two boys, Cain and Abel. THY BEGAN TO MAKE DECISIONS.

Therefore, everybody had a choice, do what God says or do what the devil says. Today, all men and women are either saved and going to heaven or lost and on the way to hell. I Corinthians 15:1-4,9,10,22-26 says, Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. For I (Paul) am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order, Christ the first fruits, afterward they that are Christs at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he shall have put down all rule, and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Luke 12:13-21 says, And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a mans life consisted not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, this will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater, and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years, take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, thou fool, this might thy soul shall be required of thee: then Who’s shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So, is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God?

Today, people are usually known by their occupation for example: There are the rulers of our counties such as Pharaoh, kings and presidents. In the United States, the Pentagon has five floors with 17.5 miles of corridors and over 27,000 employees. Next, we have the Navy, Army, Marines, and the Air Force, with thousands enlisted. Just to name a few, we have the record industry, tobacco industry, alcohol industry, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, funeral home, the beauty industry, electric company, nuclear plants, the car industry, state parks, farmers, prisons, and churches, etc.…

So, what goes into making each one of us what we are? Luke 16:19-25 says there was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finer in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receiveth thou good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. From this story we find that every person has a responsibility to God and man. Most people probably thought highly of the rich but God did not. Many may have had bad thouths abut the beggar but God thought highly of the beggar. Every man will give an account of his life to God. Come join us in church and read and study your BIBLE and find out who you are and what you are.
