His family will receive friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 27, at the funeral home.

Will, born Jan. 7, 1975, in Cookeville, passed away Nov. 18, 2021 at his home.

He is survived by his father, Johnny (Susan) Paul, of Wartrace; mother, Lacrecia (Johnny) Howard, of Cookeville; daughter, Carlee Paul, of Sparta; siblings, Indyalyn (Tony) Delk, Charley (Haven) Paul, Chris (Chasity) Howard, all of Cookeville, Mark (Erin) Howard, of Richmond, Kentucky; four nephews; two nieces; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Agnes Paul and Lloyd and Alma Murphy.

Will was always a hard worker, and, for the last 21 years, he owned AccuComfort HVAC, which he built from the ground up. A master of his trade, Will was known for his expertise, honesty, and integrity. He loved his work, the people he served, and helping others in the industry with trouble-shooting difficulties.

Will was a brave and fearless man who enjoyed many exciting    adventures over the years. He formerly competed with the National Cowboy Association bull riding circuit and was named Rookie of the Year, in 1996. He earned a brown belt in karate at a young age and loved deer hunting.

Will loved deeply, laughed often, and never met a stranger.    Always ready with a joke, story, or a kind word, Will was a friend to all! He loved his family and friends, always did the right thing by people, and fought for the underdog, but the love and light of his life was his daughter, Carlee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund set up for Carlee at FirstBank 851 S. Willow Ave. Ste 101,  Cookeville, Tennessee.

Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
