On Nov. 26, the White County High School Warriors and Warriorettes both dominated the visiting Dekalb County team from Smithville.

The Warriorettes took to the court first and won big by a score of 65-32.  The Warriorettes took the lead early in the first quarter and never looked back as they cruised to the win.  Gracie Dodgen led the Warriorettes with 15 points.  Kendreah Reeves followed with 11 points in the game.  Julia Curtis scored eight points, and Nia Powers added seven points.  Morgan Quick, Alaina Stiles, and Kanden Reeves added six points in the win.  Addison Frazier, Taylor Rittenberry, and Mia Murray added two points each to finish the scoring.

The Warriorettes had 18 assists, 11 offensive rebounds, and 17 defensive rebounds.  They shot 54 percent from the free-throw line.  The Warriorettes made eight out of 35 in two-point shots for a 23 percent shooting average inside the arc.  From three-point land, they shot 48 percent, going 14 of 29. The total shooting percentage from the field was 22 of 64 for a shooting percentage of 34 percent from the field.  The final score was 65-32.  The Warriorettes move to 4-0 on the season.

The Warriors followed suit in the second game of the night as they controlled all aspects of the game to soundly defeat the DeKalb County team by a score of 73-39.

The Warriors took control in the second quarter by outscoring DeKalb County 26 to 6.  Grant Slatten continued to lead the Warriors in scoring with 27 points.  Masyn Winningham added 11 points, and Kegan Dodson added nine points in the win.  Kade Clark scored eight points, and Austin Burchett scored six points.  Micah Webster scored five points, and Trey Crockett added three points.  Markeese Coleman and Tucker Nash finished the scoring with two points each.   The Warriors were 11 for 18 for 61 percent from the free-throw line.  They shot 30 percent from beyond the arc by hitting eight of 27 shots.  The Warriors shot 63 percent from inside the three-point line and hit 19 of 30 inside the arc.  Total shooting from the field was 47 percent.  They hit 27 of 57 from the field.  The Warriors move to 3-1 on the season.
