Curtis L. Parks, 59, of Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly at home, on March 17, 2024.

Born March 16, 1965, in Clinton County, he was the son of Morris ‘Joe’ and Mary Ellis Parks.

Curtis was a 1983 graduate of Wilmington High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army for eight years.  Following his service, he worked at ABX for 28 years and had been a driver for R+L for the last eight years. Curtis loved ‘sitting and thinking’ on his back porch and spending time with his beloved children and grandson.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by sisters, Cindy Wade and Beverly Parks.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Frank Parks.  Also left to cherish his memory are their children: Hannah (Patrick) Stumpf, of Milford, Samuel Curtis Parks, of Lynchburg, and Nathaniel (Lauren Gardner) Parks, of Dodsonville; grandson, Cason Henry Parks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Ruth Frank; and nieces, Desteny (Landon) Phillips and Caylee Murphy, and their families.  

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, 10 a.m.-noon, March 21, 2924, with burial at a later time.
