Gennie Rebecca Freeman Hall, 51, of Sparta, passed away, April 10, 2024, at her residence.
Gennie was born Dec. 19, 1972, in Peoria, Illinois.
She was a former LPN and a veteran of the United States Army. She loved fishing, camping and croqueting. Her greatest joy was being Memaw to her adoring family.
Gennie was preceded in death by her father, Danny Alan Freeman.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Joe Hall; three daughters, Patience (Max) Blum, Amber (Joshua) Dashnaw, Josie Freeman and fiance’ J.R. Mathis; stepsons, Joe Hall, Jr., Stephen Hall; grandchildren, Serenity Blum, Rylie Blum, Paige Dashnaw, Binjin Blum; three step-grandchildren; mother, Gloria McGarr; sisters, Kathryn, Debra, Kathleen, Michelle, Pamela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Hall family has entrusted Hunter Funeral Home with Gennie’s cremation, and no public services are planned.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
