Alice Marie Gaul Skarzynski, 72, passed away suddenly, on July 27, 2023.
She was born May 19, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in the Melrose section of Sayreville, New Jersey.
She married Melrose resident Robert F. Skarzynski, on Oct. 19, 1974. They raised four boys, living in Sayreville; Buffalo, New York; Columbia, Tennessee; Lexington, South Carolina; and then retired in Sparta, Tennessee.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Skarzynski, and a sister, Carol Berthelson.
She is survived by four boys, Daniel (Kimberly) Skarzynski, Robert F. (Angela) Skarzynski Jr., Jason Skarzynski, Dalton (Cheyanne) Skarzynski; four grandchildren, Devin, Lelan, Keira, Danielle; great-grandchildren, Athena, Matthew; her mother, Solveig Gaul; and a sister, Rose (Frank) Braddock.
A memorial service was 1 p.m., July 31, 2023, at her home.
