Perry Allen Williams, 49, of Sparta, passed away unexpectedly, on May 6, 2022, at his residence.
Allen was born Aug. 28, 1972, in High Point, North Carolina.
He was a 15-year employee of Altium Healthcare, formerly known as Tri-State Distribution, where he was a forklift operator. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish, hike, and go caving. When he was not enjoying the outdoors, he was enjoying late model stock car racing and four-wheeler racing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle "Shellie" Williams, and his father, Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Williams.
Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Alana Williams; son, Nicholas Williams; stepchildren, Josh Iceman, Jay (Brittany) Iceman, Logynn Loftin, Bryanna Loftin; mother, Francis Marie "Virgie" Norris; sisters, Lisa (Jason) Sparkman, Cindy (Shawn) Smith; brother, Gene (Misty) Williams; grandchildren, Oliver Ires, Demetrius Iceman, Kamani Iceman; special friend, Jessica Brant; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., May 12, 2022, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Old New Hope Cemetery. Nathan Hawkins will officiate. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., May 11, at the funeral home.
Travis Williams, Chris Williams, Jay Iceman, Logynn Loftin, Kelly Selby, Timmy Selby, Tyler Smith, and Richard Griffin will serve as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
