Alston Leon Prater, 67, of Sparta, passed away July 20, 2023, at his residence.
Alston was born Aug. 30, 1955, in Sparta, to Woodrow Carroll and Christine Waggoner Prater.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., July 24, 2023, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., July 24, at the funeral home.
