James Ardin Bussell, better known as Ardie, 59, of the Dodson’s Branch community, of Jackson County, passed away March 15, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Ardie was born Aug. 14, 1965, in Sparta, to Ardin Olan and Geneva Richardson Bussell.
Ardie loved music and was an active member of the music industry. He had many friends in the industry. Of all of the music that he enjoyed, Stevie Nicks was his favorite.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Nora Irene Bussell “Pookie” Kuchna, Linda Lou Bussell Sparkman, infant sister, Brenda Jean Bussell, and brother, Gary Wayne Bussell.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley Bevard; companion, Sarah Murphy;; three adopted grandchildren, Cameron, Addison, Gage; and several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Ardie’s wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation, and no services are planned.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
