Billy “Alan” Randolph Sr., 61, of Sparta, passed away May 19, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.
He was born Nov. 29, 1963, in Sparta, the son of Joanna Smith and Billy Randolph.
Alan was an E5 Sergeant in the National Guard Armory where he served for 19 years. He continued his education at McMinnville Vocational with a degree in drafting, specializing in AutoCAD where he worked for S&S Screw for several years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny Randolph Sr., Benny Randolph, and Philip Randolph, and his grandmother, Erma Harris.
Survivors include his sons, Billy Randolph Jr. (Shiloh), of Knoxville, Todd Randolph (Keesha), of McMinnville, Christopher Randolph, of Smithville; adopted daughters, Rhonda Frasier, Kimberly Trapp (Brad); brothers, Dewayne Randolph (Sue), Haskell Randolph (Jennifer); sisters, Patricia Simmons, Rebecca Cunningham (John), Tammy Pippin (Paul); grandchildren, Blake Randolph, Chloe Randolph, Jaxson Randolph, Mason Ortez, Liz Dalton (Fletcher), Briz Trapp; great-grandchildren, Aspen, Sawyer Dalton; sister-in-law, Sherry Randolph, of Rolla, Missouri; nieces, Racheal Bumbalough (Justin), of Rolla, Missouri, Stephanie Williams (David), of Sparta; nephew, Kenny Randolph Jr., of Sparta; and several great-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., May 23, 2025, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Carter Cemetery. Bro. Carl Sims will officiate. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m., May 23, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Randolph Jr., Todd Randolph, Christopher Randolph, Blake Randolph, Justin Bumbalough, and Psych Venable.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
