Brenda Sue Griffin, age 78, of Sparta, TN, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born February 28, 1948, in Sparta, TN, to the late Albert and Sina Youngblood Doney. She was a homemaker who cared for grandchildren, and she also enjoyed fishing.
Ms. Griffin was preceded in death by siblings Jr, Rod, Gussie Mae, Faye, and Sallie Mae.
She is survived by her children, Lisa and Jack Prater, Sara Luna, Stacy, and Teresa Griffin.
Her grandchildren Jacob and Shayna Judd, Josh Prater, Rachel and Bobby Oliver, Chrystal and Carl Buck, Donovan Pinkston, Chance Smith, and Braxton Neely
Her great-grandchildren Jackson, Raylan, CeCe Judd, Xander, Kyson Oliver, Tracy Savage, Lilly Buck, Alyvia, Isabella, and Emma Smith
She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbors, and friends whom she loved very deeply. If you knew Nanny Sue, you were loved very much.
