Bridgette Annette Henderson Rice, 63, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 19, 2024, as a result of an automobile accident.
Bridgette was born Nov. 9, 1960, in Sparta.
She was a 1978 graduate of White County High School and a recent retiree of One Bank. She was an avid gardener who loved flowers and enjoyed spending her time sewing and reading. Above all, Bridgette was devoted to her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a loving wife, mother, and nana to her beloved family.
Bridgette was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Louena Cope Adcock and stepfather, Dean Adcock.
Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 36 years, Todd Rice, of Sparta; daughter, Alyssa (Aaron) Masters, of Sparta; son, Bronson Rice, of Sparta; sister, Kim Dockery, of Sparta; father, Farrell (Barbara) Henderson, of Sparta; granddaughter, Lynnleigh Masters, of Sparta; grandson, Parker Masters, of Sparta; and nieces, Allison Dockery and Madison (Austin) Breedlove, all of Sparta.
In honor of Bridgette’s wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with her cremation. No public services will be planned.
