Carolyn Sue Howell, 78, of Sparta, passed July 21, 2023 at her home.
She was born Nov, 18, 1944, in Sparta, to William and Alva Tallent
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Otis Tallent, and her grandson, Isiah Vinson.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Dana) Vinson, Melissa (Jeff) Mace, Tony Vinson; grandchildren, Ella Vinson, Kevin Sherrell, Kristopher Sherrell, Shanese Maynard, Seth Vinson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m., July 24, 2023, at Thurman Funeral Home. Sister Sandra Vance will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
