Clarice Jo Frasier Stewart, 92, of Sparta went to be with her Lord, on Oct. 9, 2024, while at her residence.

Clarice Jo was born April 20, 1932, in White County, to Herman Henry and Jessie Mae Johnson Frasier.

Her work career spanned many facets - beginning with the shirt factory, later retiring from Dr. Harold Andrews’ office, then owning Magnolia Antiques which later became Stewart’s Antiques. A life-long member of Bear Cove Baptist Church, Clarice was also the oldest living member of her beloved church. She strived every day to spread the message to everyone to know her Lord. She proudly had her “ticket to ride to heaven.”  Clarice was lovingly picked up for her ride to heaven while she was working in her flowers as she so dearly loved to do.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and hero of 60 years, Stancel Edward Stewart, who died Jan. 9, 2012, and infant brother, Gerald Tracy Frasier.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Pamela Pullum and husband Rick, Phyllis Byrd and husband Notie, all of Sparta; grandson, Stewart Bryce Pullum and wife Megan, of Lebanon; great-granddaughter, Madison Ruth Pullum; siblings, Betty Gilbert, of Goodlettsville, Norma Kirby, Larry Frasier and wife JoAnn, Doris Greene and husband Charles, Brenda Lintz and husband Ron, Wanda Newby and husband John, all of Sparta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was 3 p.m., Oct. 13, 2024, at Bear Cove Baptist Church, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Frank Derrick officiated.

Bryce Pullum, Mark Frasier, Bray Frasier, Cade Crosland, Cole Crosland, and Jerry Sawyer served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Sanders Watson, Ron Lintz, Steve Holland, John Newby, and Charles Greene.

Memorial donations may be made to Bear Cove Baptist Church or Highland Cemetery, in care of Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 90, Sparta, Tennessee 38583.
