Connie Bohannon Blankenship, 69, passed away Sept. 16, 2023.
Connie graduated from White County High School, in 1971.
Her first job was at Mallory Timers, in Sparta. She then worked for 15-plus years with the family business at Big Star/Piggly Wiggly grocery store, in Crossville. She worked at DANA Corp., in Crossville, for 12-plus years, in data entry.
Connie will forever be in our hearts and memories.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Layla Hunter; father, Vernon Bohannon; and son, Nathan Hunter.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby Bohannon Maxwell; spouse, Mark Blankenship; sons, Kevin Hunter, Eric Garrison and wife Chelsea; grandchildren, Brenton Hunter, Allie Garrison, Chloe Garrison, Isabella Hunter; sister, Paula Stanfill and husband Craig; and brother, Zack Bohannon and wife Marsha.
Connie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family as per her wishes. She was cremated per her request, with a small family graveside ceremony at a later date.
