Daniel Lynn Kirby, 39, of Sparta, passed away Oct. 10, 2024.

Daniel was born May 7, 1985, in Crossville.

He was a C&C Operator for Cherokee Steel, in Lebanon. Daniel was a member of the choir at the former Redeemed Church, in Lebanon, and that experience gave him the confidence to pursue his passion of music. He was a member of Lil Town where his instrument in the band was his voice and songwriting. If he was not performing, he enjoyed being at home gardening, however, his Sundays were devoted to the Tennessee Titans.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Charles Frederick Kirby, and his special aunt who raised him, Glenda Faye Stinnett Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Avery Kirby; mother, Virginia Snider Bolden and husband James; brothers, Jesse James Kirby, Zachary William Richardson; sister, Christy Kirby Bell; niece, Rhailyn Jayde Kirby; nephew, Zaidyn James Kirby; fiancée, Andrea Loretta Burton and her parents, Roberta and James Burton, and sister Erica Burton; grandmother, Enda Lois Kirby; aunt, Shirly Renee Kirby; cousins, Lanny, James, and Adam Stinnett, Nick Slatten, Sarah Cannon, Chris Slatten; stepbrothers, Jay Jay Bolden, Josh Bolden; stepsister, Tabitha Bolden; and honorary sons, Gabe and Shane Newton, Jasper Burton-Wilson.

Funeral service was 1 p.m., Oct. 14, 2024, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery.

Jesse Kirby, Zachary Richardson, Jordan Jolley, Chet Williams, Lanny Stinnett, Adam Stinnett, James Stinnett, Nick Slatten, and James Burton served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Jesse Owens, Casey Walker, Tim Vandergriff, Matthew Poston, Shannon Hale, and Sean King

Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
