Quebeck, Tennessee, resident and Van Buren County native Della Louise Binkley, age 86, was born May 1, 1938, and died January 31, 2025, at her residence, following an extended illness.
A retired teacher with Van Buren County and Davidson County schools and member of Spencer Church of Christ, she was the daughter of William Mitchell and Mattie Bryant Dodson.
Mrs. Binkley was married, on Jan. 16, 1960, to Turner Golden Binkley Sr. who preceded her in death, on May 22, 2012.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Anna Pearl (Chip) McNeal, Genella (Bob) Markum, D.L. Dodson, James Dodson, Frank (Ruth) Dodson, and Shirley Walker and brother-in-law, David Bailey.
She is survived by her children, Turner (Amanda) Binkley, Chris (Cassandra) Binkley, Cheryl (Shane) McGuire, all of Bone Cave; grandchildren, Turner Binkley III, Jared Binkley, Kellsea (Nathan) McCormick, Kenlyn (Rylie) McGuire, Mattie Kathryn McGuire; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jayllah, Sawyer; sisters, Glenda (Roy) Adams, of Readyville, Dr. Sue Bailey, of Doyle, June (Sam) Seamons, of Bone Cave; sisters-in-law, Edith Dodson, of Bone Cave, Geneva Dodson, of Spencer; brother-in-law, Collier Lee Walker, of Doyle; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Feb. 3, 2025, at High Funeral Home Chapel, in McMinnville, with burial in Dodson Cemetery at Beech Grove, in Van Buren County. Turner Golden Binkley Jr., Chris Binkley, and Cheryl McGuire officiated.
High Funeral Home in McMinnville was in charge of arrangements.
