Dora Mae Qualls, 85, of Sparta, passed away March 18, 2025, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Born Oct. 6, 1939, she was the daughter of Floyd Woody and Rettie Belle Trisdale.
Dora was a proud member of East Sparta Church of God where she was a member of the choir.
In addition to her parents, Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Qualls
Surviving are daughters, Shelia (Jesse) Cockcroft, of Dorchester, South Carolina, Kimberly (Steven) Bodner, of Porto, Portugal; grandchildren, Jordan Cockcroft, of Dorchester, South Carolina, Cheslea Cates, of Austin, Texas; sister, Lillian Humphrey, of Walling; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., March 24, 2025, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Charles Dodson officiated.
The family would like to convey a special word of thanks to the angels at Life Care Center of Sparta for their loving care and friendship.
