Mrs. Edna Lois Poston Kirby, better known as Lois or more affectionately as Nanny, age 92, of Crossville, passed away at 10:30 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Cumberland Medical Center.
Lois was born September 19, 1933, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late George Dewey and Sarah Emmaline Flatt Poston. She was a proud homemaker in every sense of the word. She loved cooking and gardening, but most of all she loved taking care of the babies in the family. She was not only Nanny to her family but to all the friends of the family as well.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday, July 26, 2026, from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Plainview Cemetery on Hwy 84. The family will receive friends after 12 pm Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Goff will officiate.
