Elmos Eugene Troglen, 75, of Bone Cave, passed from this life, on Sept. 29, 2023, at Hospice House, in Murfreesboro.
Eugene was born Feb. 11, 1948, in Spencer, the son of Elmos Franklin Troglen and Geneva Christine Berryhill Troglen.
He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Brymer, and a brother Danny Troglen.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Joanie Slatton Troglen; son, Donald Eugene Troglen and wife Christy; daughter, Sherry Joan Pendergrass and husband William; five grandchildren, Laci Cope and husband Kenneth, Ashley Turner and husband Kevin, Donovan Troglen and Sidney, Barron Pendergrass, Kaylah Pendergrass; five great-grandchildren, Kelton Cope, Kyson Turner, Draxton Turner, Adaline Troglen, and one on the way, Luke Cope; two sisters, Pansy Watson, Shirley Keen and husband Malcolm; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Oct. 3, 2023, at Spencer Funeral Home, with burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, in Smartt. Thelma Roby and Carl Seibers officiated.
Spencer Funeral Home, in Van Buren County, was in charge of arrangements.
