Elvis Lynn Wallace passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 87. He is survived by his daughters, Sherri Wallace (Scott) Cash and Stacie Wallace; first cousin, Donald (Carolyn) Brock.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" Martin and Ollie Belle Wallace; brother, Billy Dale (Laura) Wallace.
He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend of many who will miss him.
Lynn was the retired broker/owner of E.L. Wallace Properties for over 35 years. He sold investment real estate and was a developer across the state of Tennessee. He valued hard work, honesty, and integrity, and his counsel was sought by many. Lynn was also a veteran of the United States National Guard.
Lynn was active in the community as a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church, where he served as a past president of the Wesley Forum Sunday school class. He was a dedicated member of the Hillsboro-Brentwood Exchange Club, also serving as a past president. He was instrumental in putting up the American Flags that line Franklin Road in Brentwood on major patriotic and National Holidays. Lynn was passionate about giving back to the community, both locally and globally. He enjoyed volunteering to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity and participated in a mission trip to Honduras.
Lynn had a great love for the outdoors. He was an avid member of the Tennessee Forestry Association and the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association. He spent much time in nature's glory, hiking in the woods, canoeing in the rivers, and exploring the trails on the family farm and across the state on horseback. Lynn always had a twinkle in his eye and was ready for an adventure.
Lynn could often be found traveling around the globe, restoring classic collector cars, and cruising around Middle Tennessee with his daughters.
Lynn will be remembered for his love of the Lord, love for his family, kindness to others, and caring disposition. He was a cherished father to his daughters. He leaves behind a profound legacy by being a constant presence, offering steady support, unconditional love, and demonstrating life lessons through personal example rather than words alone.
