Erin Leigh Foster, age 18 at the time she went missing on April 3, 2000, was found Dec. 1, 2021, in Sparta.
Erin was born Feb. 28, 1982, to Cecil Aaron Foster and Leigh Ann Williams Foster.
She was a student at White County High School. Erin was a perfectionist in everything she did - whether she was helping her mother around the house or assisting her dad with mechanic work. With her mechanical talents, Erin aspired to be an airplane mechanic following high school. She had great pride in herself and her family, always willing to take up for her younger brother if needed.
Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her parents, Cecil and Leigh Ann Foster; brother, Will Foster; aunts, Sue Savage, Gail Lawson, Wanda Stafford, Brenda Pope, Sharron Mason, Laurie Pemberton, Lynda Jolley; uncle, Jason Foster; close friend, Aimee Payne; and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m., Jan. 23, 2022, at Hunter Funeral Home. Eugene Lawson will officiate. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., Jan. 23, at the funeral home.
