Graveside service for Eugenia "Morning" Clouse, 87, of Cookeville, were 2 p.m., Jan. 17, 2023, at Upper Board Valley Cemetery.  Bro. Ronald Strong officiated.

Eugenia was born Dec. 6, 1935, at home, in the Board Valley community, to Arvil Baker and Allie Robinson Baker.

She worked in agriculture with farming and was very active in line dancing, co-ed volleyball, and was a member in the Senior Olympics.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clouse; a daughter, Jo Ann Writtenberry; and a granddaughter, Kathy Writtenberry.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Lane Clouse; brother, Ralph Baker; niece, Danna Riddle; nephew, Allen Baker; six grandchildren, Ronald Chad Clouse, Hannah Fields, Rachel Clouse, Christopher Writtenberry, Alonzo Clouse, Nicholas Jones; and five great-grandchildren.

Whitson Funeral Home, in Cookeville, was in charge of arrangements.
