Frances Alexander Rigsby, 87, of Smithville, passed away June 22, 2023, at Alive Hospice, in Murfreesboro.
Frances was born June 6, 1936, to James Isaac and Alton Smith Alexander.
Mrs. Frances was a member of the Indian Creek Memorial Baptist Church and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Nokes; brothers, James Isaac Alexander, Bill Alexander, Nick Alexander, Jimmy Alexander; an infant brother; and sisters, Mary Foster, Audrey Elam, and Dorothy Bennett.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jackie Rigsby, of Smithville; son, Jackie Darrell Rigsby, of Smithville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Colwell, of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., June 25, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Home, in Smithville, with burial in Jefferson Cemetery. Bro. Ric Lee and Bro. Terry Fesler officiated.
Memorial donations may be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, Indian Creek Memorial Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice, in memory of Mrs. Frances.
