Frances E Miller, 70, passed away Dec. 22, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1954, in Cookeville, to Waymon and Irene Sparks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold Miller Sr.; children, Jeffery Dale Miller, Melissa Nail Sparks; siblings, Mary Nelson, Hollis Sparks, Raymond Sparks, John Sparks, Riley Sparks, Geneva Sparks, Rosnella Sparks, David Sparks; brother-in-law, Charlie Lumpkin; son-in-law, Tom Richardson; and great-grandchildren, Paige Williams, Liam Alexander Gunnels, and Rayland Grayson Cole Gunnels.
Survivors include her children, Elaine Richardson, Dewayne Miller, Melinda (Jason) Lewis, Arnold “AJ” Miller Jr.; grandchildren, Teresa (Vergil) Newby, Josh Richardson, Emily Alred, Virginia Gunnels, Elijah Miller, Joseph Lewis, Austin Miller, Timothy Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Abigail Lewis; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eddie Dean (Martha) Sparks, Martha Jo Lumpkin; sister-in-law, Jill Sparks; longtime companion, John Steven Pailet; and special friend, Sandy Brown.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Dec. 28, 2024, at Peeled Chestnut Methodist Church, with burial in Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Randolph officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
