Harold Loraine Cantrell, 92, of Walling, passed away Oct. 29, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Red Kap Industries, was a volunteer fireman for Central View Volunteer Fire Department, and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Goldia "Goldie" Cope Cantrell; his children, Jeffery, Micheal, Craig, Lorie; and his grandson, Matthew.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma Gooch Cantrell; son, Ralph Cantrell and wife Peggy; sisters, Anna Hillis ,Loretta Rigsby; grandsons, Nick Cantrell and wife Tiffany, Jeff Cantrell, John Dunn and wife Kristin; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Cadence, Emily, Gavin, Jocelyn, Keegan, Blaine, Allison; daughter-in-law, Nan Cantrell; granddaughter-in-law, Lori Cantrell; and special family and friends, Kathy and James Brymer, Alton and Pearl Marcum, Dewayne and Tammy Hutchings, and R.J. and Bronson Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was 3 p.m., Nov. 4, 2025, at Spring Hill the Baptist Church of Christ, with full military honors by the Veterans' Honor Guard. Cody Holman officiated.
Bronson Lee, Dewayne Hutchings, Marion Knowles, Jeff Parrish, Nick Cantrell, Darrell Hillis, Jeff Cantrell, and Rodney "Rod" Wallen served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were great-grandchildren, Blaine, Keenan, Gavin, Cadence, Jocelyn, Allison, Emily, and Audrey.
Memorials may be made to the Spring Hill Cemetery
