Highway Department continues to upgrade and repair

From Jerry Sawyer-White County Highway Superintendent: We have been trying to take advantage of this good working weather over the last few weeks. We are trying our best to catch up on our ditch cleaning and pipe replacements. Weather is not our friend at times. If there is a storm where trees or limbs may fall and need clean-up, we have to put some jobs on hold in order to clean up the roadways so they are safe to be traveling on. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with us and our work. We have a very busy spring and summer ahead of us, and I am excited to get some much-needed work done for White County. It’s been an honor to serve White County, and I plan to continue working hard getting things done. Thank you for your continued patience and support.
