James C. "Jim" Catron Sr., 87, passed away May 13, 2025, surrounded by family.
He was born June 2, 1937, in the Ridgedale community of Cumberland County, Tennessee.
James was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Merle; brother, Lyle; daughter, Karen; sons, Chip (Malinda), Shawn (Lori); grandchildren, Chad, Brittany, Hunter (Jaden), Sydney; and great-grandson, Beckett.
A celebration of life was 2 p.m., May 16, 2025, at Bellevue Baptist Church, in Nashville. Bro. Mike Shelton officiated.
West Harpeth Funeral Home & Crematory, in Nashville, was in charge of arrangements.
