James Douglas Weston Sr., 78, of Walling, passed away May 5, 2022, at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1943, in Nashville. He was the son of William Weston and Tinnie Deering Weston.
He proudly served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, Jerry Holt; and sisters, Mary Powers and Ruth Weston.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Weston, of Walling; sons, James D. Weston Jr. (Nina,) of Walling, William M. Weston (Maria), of Lakeland, Florida; grandsons, Thomas Seth Weston (Kensey), Matthew Weston (Amanda); granddaughter, Whitney Weston; and brother, Richard E. Weston (Doris), of Fairview.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., May 11, 2022, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Sam Scavo will officiate. The family will welcome friends 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., May 11, at the funeral home.
