James Milford Cash was born Oct. 10, 1928. He was the only child of James Franklin and Anna Mae Officer Cash.
On July 14, 2021, Mr. Cash departed from his life on earth.
2 Corinthians 5:8 - We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
He is survived by his sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Jonelda Pitman Cash. They were married on Dec. 20, 1953.
They have three daughters, Angie (Robert) Murdock, Sandy (Garry) Witt, Suzi (Waymon) Haston; six grandchildren, Ben (Kaci) Dildine, Chelsea Anne Dildine, Melina (A.J.) Vaughn, Melissa (Luke) Eldridge, Diania Witt, Aminee (Justin) Cumby; nine great-grandchildren, Maddux Dildine, Cannon Dildine, Allie Dildine, Anderson Vaughn, Naomi Vaughn, Jude Eldridge, Jovi Eldridge, Laykn Cumby, London Cumby; brother-in-law, James (Jonelda) Pitman; nephews, Randy (Kim) Pitman, Chris (Valerie) Pitman; and special caregivers, Chelsea Anne Dildine, Geneva Dewett, and Melanie Marshall.
Mr. Cash was a child of God, husband of one loving wife, Daddy to three grateful girls, Pa to many precious grandbabies and great-grandbabies, and friend to all, content in every aspect of life.
Pallbearers will be Randy Pitman, Chris Pitman, Roy Barr, Greg Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Dennis Cunningham, and Larry Cunningham.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of American Legion Post 99, Matthew Elmore, Walter Buttrum, Larry Officer, and Ron Lapierre.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m., July 16, 2021, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Isom Cemetery. Bro. Paul Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m., July 16, at the funeral home.
