Jannetta Jewell Dillard, 75, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 15, 2023, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, in Sparta.
She was born Feb. 3, 1948, in Dalton, Georgia, and was the daughter of Ira Otto Dillard and Gladys Selby Dillard.
Jannetta loved her family and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Otto Dillard and Gladys Selby Dillard.
Survivors include her sisters, Shirley Bliven, of Jackson, Mississippi, Mary Counter (Pete), of Nebraska, Valerie Flournoy (Robert P.), of Sparta; two nieces; six nephews; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be at a later date at Sparta Church of the Nazarene.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
