Jennifer Pittman, 51, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 23, 2024, at home while surrounded by family.
Born Jan. 26, 1973, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Coy Ashburn and Lucille Bratcher Ashburn.
Jennifer is remembered for her love of nature. She loved to be outside, especially in her garden. Above all, Jennifer loved being with her family and spending time with her grandbabies. She will be missed.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Dusty (Tiffany) Heath, of Sparta; son, Christopher Pittman, of Sparta; four grandchildren, Chandler, Ace, Emerald, Amethyst; four siblings, Janet (Tony) Musich, of Sparta; Judy (Larry) Murray, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Danny (Joyce) Ashburn, of Sparta, Doug (Debbie) Ashburn, of Sparta; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
No services for Jennifer are planned at this time. The family is following her wishes to be cremated.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
