Jerald Douglas Slatten, 89, of Quebeck, passed away Feb. 25, 2025, at Alive Hospice, in Nashville.
Jerald was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Quebeck, to Frank and Nannie Belle Mason Slatten.
He was retired from Thomas Industries. Jerald was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish, and farm. He always enjoyed a good conversation with friends and neighbors, and he was always a good source of entertainment.
Surviving family members include his, son Mike Slatten and wife Melissa, of Rockvale; granddaughters, Haley (Henry) Martin, Morgan Slatten; brothers, Wayne (Faye) Slatten, Reed Slatten; nieces, Kim (Alex) Savage, Wendy (Dillard) Quick, Debbie Slatten; and beloved his companion, Faye Horton, and her family, Rick (Dana) Dildine, Ben (Kaci) Dildine, Erick (Ryan) Dildine, Staci (Brandon) Thomas, and Danielle Dildine.
Graveside service was 2 p.m., Feb. 27, 2025, at Jericho Cemetery. Doug Goff officiated.
Rick Dildine, Ben Dildine, Erick Dildine, David McBride, Greg Hutson, and Steve Lowery served as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
