Quebeck resident and Warren County native Jerry Dewayne Denton, age 69, was born Feb. 10, 1955, and died Jan. 23, 2025, in Old Hickory, following an extended illness.
The retired owner of Fannie B’s Manor and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Carl Mason and Fannie Barlow Denton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Mae Craig.
He was married to Elizabeth Hattaway Denton, of Quebeck, on Feb. 25, 1989.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by a son, Josh (Kelsey) Denton, of Quebeck; stepson, Brandon (Sarah) Durham, of Virginia; sister, Juanita (Calvin) West, of McMinnville; brothers, Tommy Denton, Len (Florence) Denton, both of Sparta, Eustuce (Charlene) Denton, of Florida, David (Tracy) Denton, of McMinnville; special niece, Carolyn Craig, of Columbia; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Jan. 28, 2025, at High Funeral Home Chapel, in McMinnville. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Jan. 28, at the funeral home. Mr. Denton will be cremated following the funeral service.
High Funeral Home, in McMinnville, is in charge of arrangements.
