White County FFA member Jewel Tollison is set to receive her American FFA Degree, on Oct. 28, 2020. This is the highest degree that an FFA member can earn. This award is for members who have already graduated from high school and continue to be involved in agriculture.

To be eligible, FFA members must have earned and productively invested $10,000 through a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program in which they own their own business or hold a professional position as an employee. Recipients must also complete 50 hours community service and demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and civic involvement through completion of a long list of FFA and community activities.

Only 1 percent of FFA members ever achieve this degree, and, this year, 4,136 American Degrees will be awarded out of the 760,000 FFA members nationwide.

If anyone is interested in watching her receive this prestigious degree, tune in to RFD-TV or the National FFA website.
