Jimmy Eugene Parks Jr., 62, of the Ravenscroft community, of White County, passed away peacefully, on July 30, 2024, at his residence.
Jimmy was born June 6, 1962, in Crossville, to Jimmy Eugene and Julia Ann Blaylock Parks.
He was a 1981 graduate of White County High School. He retired from Ficosa North America after a lengthy career as a supervisor with Perdue Farms and Mallory. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains. He greatest love was for his daughter, family, and the Lord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Daniel Ray Kirby.
Survivors include his daughter, Hillary Leanne (Andrew) Jenkins, of Sparta, brother, James Lloyd (Lisa) Parks, of Sparta; sister, Donna Sue Kirby, of Sparta; nieces, Rachel Clarice Parks (Phillip) Young, Leah Dawn Parks (Jordan) Short; and nephews, Daniel Eugene Kirby and Jonathan Michael (Amanda) Kirby.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Aug. 2, 2024, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Allen Jones officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
