Joan Marie Anderson, 80, of Sparta, passed from this life, on Aug. 5, 2022, at her home.
Joan was born April 3, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Kenneth Sublette and Virginia Locke Sublette.
She worked in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant for 40 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Royal, and her sister, Jessica Sublette.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Anderson, of Sparta; three sons, Anthony Martinez, of Long Beach, California, Alex Martinez, of Palmdale, California, Gregory Martinez, of Phoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leon Sublette, of Boise, Idaho, John Sublette, of Omaha, Nebraska, Jim Sublette, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Virginia Day, of Crossville; and many other family members and friends.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
