Joe Lee Humphrey, age 86 of Walling, TN passed away Wednesday June 17, 2026 at St Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born November 20, 1939, in White County, TN to the late Luther Lee and Mary Hawkins Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey enjoyed riding Walking Horses and training them. He also loved to hunt, fish, and watch NASCAR. Mr. Humphrey worked for Malory for 35 years.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Virginia Humphrey, sister Frances Johnson, brother James Humphrey, and niece Monica Johnson.
He is survived by two daughters: Gina Humphrey and Lisa and her husband Greg Allison. He is also survived by niece Jaime and husband James Winnet, nephew Chris Simmons, and several cousins and friends.
The Funeral will be Monday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-1 Monday at the funeral home. The interment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
