John Harris, a resident of Dowelltown, TN, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at the age of 85. He received compassionate care from Genetiva Hospice services during his final days.
Mr. Harris is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Merril Harris. He is also survived by his five devoted children: J'aime, David, Scott, Ananda, and Jessie. His cherished legacy continues through his three grandchildren, Cj, Alexis, and Niyah, and his two great-grandchildren, Amaya and Aaliyah.
John found immense joy in exploring new places through travel, expressing his creativity through quilting, and spending quality time with his dear friends.
He was adored by his children and will be greatly missed. His hobbies included playing Wizard, listening to opera, and canning vegetables.
At this time, there are no arrangements for Mr. Harris.
