Johnny Ray Blaylock, 64, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly, on Dec. 10, 2024, at his residence.
Johnny was born Sept. 27, 1960, in the Ravenscroft community, of White County.
He was retired from Tri-State. Johnny was an active member of East Sparta Church of God and a proud veteran of the National Guard. He enjoyed racing, but, above all, he loved being Papa to his family. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Blaylock.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Rosalee Jones Blaylock; daughter, Kellie Blaylock Studley and husband John; son, Johnny Lee Blaylock; daughter, Kimberly Irene Vance; mother, Cecil Williams Warren; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Davis, Quinton Prater, Jared Prater, Lindsay Walker, Katie Smith, Abigail Smith; and two brothers, Cletus Blaylock and Billy Blaylock.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Dec. 14, 2024, at East Sparta Church of God. Burial, with full military honors by the Veterans’ Honor Guard, followed in Shockley Cemetery. Bishop Charles Dotson officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
