Joseph Paul Tubb, 36, passed away May 3, 2021, following an accident, in Mobile, Alabama.

He was born on Jan. 4, 1985, in Nashville, and adopted through Agape, with great joy, by Les and Becky Tubb.

He graduated from White County High School, in Sparta, and Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas.

 Joseph met Brittney Hall while serving as a youth minister at Cumberland Heights Church of Christ, and they married, on Nov. 7, 2015. The new couple moved to Mobile, Alabama, where Joseph served as a worship leader at Port City Church of Christ. Later, he transitioned to a new job with Satellites Unlimited as a dish tech and worshiped and served at Regency Church of Christ. There, two imperfect people grew into a loving couple. Brittney’s one-word description of Joseph was “beautiful.”

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.R. Tubb III and Dorothy Tubb, who had resided in Sparta; Louis and Jean Ross, who had resided in Sparta; and Sam Jones, who had resided in Lebanon.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Brittney Tubb; parents, Les and Becky Tubb, of Sparta; brother, Daniel Tubb (Romina and son Luca), of Tampa, Florida; grandmother, Ola Ross Tubb Jones, of Sparta; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Other survivors include his family by marriage, mother-in-law, Teresa Hall; father-in-law, Chip Hall; (Elvie); sister-in-law, Breanna Hall; brother-in-law, Trey Hall; grandparents, Billy and Carol Geer; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clay Dougherty, Reed Hale, Trey Hall, Patrick O’Donnell, Willie O’Donnell, Seth Priddy, Jonathan Ross, Sam Ross, and Daniel Tubb.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., May 10, 2021, at Cumberland Heights Church of Christ, 1600 Memorial Highway, in Doyle.

Funeral service will be 6 p.m., May 10, 2021, at Cumberland Heights Church of Christ, with burial in Cumberland Heights Cemetery.
