Kelly Ann DelaPena Kirby, 60, of Sparta, passed away July 10, 2023, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, in Murfreesboro.
She was born Aug. 23, 1962, in Nashville. She was the daughter of Pedro DelaPena and Zelma Davis, both of whom preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Darek Kirby.
Surviving family include her daughter, Katelyn Kirby (Shon Lee), of Sparta; son, Hunter Kirby, of Sparta; grandchildren, Jayde Bumbalough, Korbyn Lee, Kamdyn Lee; sisters, Dawanna Lopez (Jose), of Sparta, Tracey Simpson, of Sparta, Sharon Blaylock, of Sparta; brother, Randall Blaylock (Jeannie), of Sparta; father-in-law and mother-in-law, H.L. and Norma Kirby, of Sparta; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A celebration of life service will be 2-4 p.m., July 15, 2023, at Bear Cove Baptist Church.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
