Kenneth Dale Lamb, age 74 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
Kenneth was born June 27, 1951 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late John Edward Lamb and Rosa Nell Jenkins Lamb Carter. Kenneth was a very friendly and social person. He was funny and liked to make people laugh. He loved being around people, farmers, stock barns, and horse sales. He went to the Wilson Horse Sale almost every Tuesday, and he was a frequent visitor at Luna's Tire Store. He was also a member of Findlay Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Lamb and nephew, Marty Lamb.
He is survived by his brother, Robert D. Lamb and wife, Debbie of Sparta, TN; niece, Rebecca Sims and husband, Brandon of Sparta, TN: great-nieces and great-nephew, Haily Lamb, Mitchell Lamb, and Alayna Copeland and husband, Isaac; several cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Jonathan Burns officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of the service at the funeral home. A private burial will follow in Rose Chapel Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to his cousin, Ricky Jenkins, for all the many visits while he was at NHC, the wonderful staff at NHC of Sparta for taking such good care of him during his time there, and to Caris Hospice for their care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kenneth's honor to the Rose Chapel Cemetery Care Fund. Donations can be made at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
