Kenneth “David” Thaxton, 53, passed away Jan. 2, 2024 at his home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1970, in Crossville, to Howard Vance and Kathy Thaxton Raper.
He was adopted by his loving stepfather, Kelly Thaxton, when he was 5 years old.
David enjoyed woodworking and anything to do with the water. He loved fishing and his beloved dog, Molly.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: two boys he loved like his own sons, Josh Earls, David Earls; parents, Kelly and Kathy Thaxton and Howard and Sandra Vance; brothers, Mark Thaxton, of Rock Island, Huston (Khristy) Thaxton, of McMinnville; sisters, Lora Cox, of Quebeck, Crystal (Shannon) Parker, of Quebeck; aunts, Martha (James) Dukes, of Doyle, Elizabeth (Charles) Gilbert, of Spencer, Lillian (David) England, of Sparta, Debbie Cantrell, of Quebeck; uncle, Billy Vance, of Spencer; special cousins, Leslie Robinson, Michelle Goodman, James Gilbert, Kenton Vance; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
