Larry William Randolph, 73, of Sparta, passed away March 24, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born Feb. 24, 1952, in Bridge Port, Connecticut, to Azer and Willene Selby Randolph.

Larry worked for Majestic, in Huntington, Indiana, for many years before moving to Tennessee where he worked as a Security Guard at Mallory Timers and as a custodian at BASF, Mallory Timers, and White County Middle School where he won Employee of the Year, in 2013.

He retired in 2017. Since he retired, he had been doing woodworking in his garage where he had made multiple furniture items for family and friends. When this got too difficult for him, he began building model cars and trucks, and he loved to show them off. He loved his dogs, Gus, Claire, and Boomer. Every morning, he would sit playing his music in his recliner with his coffee and play with the cats, Montanna and Dusty. His wife, kids, and grandkids were his world, and he was very proud of them all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joshua William Randolph; and sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Dan Parrett.

Larry is survived by his wife of 28 years, Judy Randolph; children, Jeremy (Stephanie) Turner, Jay (Kim) Randolph, Jillena (Randy) Burger, Junne Burke; brother, James (Cathy) Randolph; grandchildren, Angelique (Justus) Farley, Darien Turner, Caleb Turner, Noah Randolph, Jayla Randolph, Nathan McCallister, Dinah McCallister (Jessie Armstrong), Mersadez Grove (Malaki Johnson); great-grandchildren, Jozette Farley, Austyn Farley, Raelynn Armstrong; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m., March 29, 2025, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Board Valley Cemetery. Bro. James Nash will officiate. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., March 29, at the funeral home.
