Linda Faye Young, 77, of Sparta, passed away Feb. 18, 2024, at Hospice of Cumberland County, in Crossville.
Linda was born Sept. 15, 1946, in Sparta, the daughter of Arnold Brown and Bessie Mabe Brown.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Louise May, and her stepdaughter, Kim Armstrong.
Surviving family include her husband, Justin Young; her son, Lanny (Melissa) Selby; stepson, Curtis (Pam) Young; granddaughter, Holly (Drew) Wharton; brother, Tommy (Judy) Brown; and sisters, Martha Scott, Zelma (Charles) Steward.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Feb. 21, 2024, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Black Oak Cemetery. Steve Gerhart officiated.
Pallbearers were Drew Wharton, Brent Steward, Zayne Steward, Michael Cantrell, Donnie Daniels, and Joel Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Young, Perry Perkins, and Kenny Loftis.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
