Linda Frances Mabe Jones, 76, of Sparta, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2026.
Linda was born on Friday, April 7, 1950, to the late Aaron Louis and the late Betty Frances Pack Mabe.
In her lifetime, Linda worked at Mallory Controls and White County Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 5 brothers: Dexter, Jewel, Jerry Wayne, Louis, and Carlon Mabe; 3 sisters: Louise Cantrell, Pauline Billings, and Roeina Mabe; 2 sons: Norman Rodney Jones and Lonnie Earl Colwell Jr.; and 1 great-granddaughter: Berkley Hammock.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Norman Eugene Jones; 2 daughters: Christie Jones Tindle and Vickie Jones Sherrell (Jack); 3 grandsons: Christopher Kyle Tindle (Christine), Colbin Jones (Ceile), and Lonnie Earl Colwell III; 4 granddaughters: Ashley Rice (Daniel), Brittany Seymour (Heath), Allie Hammock (Matt), and Emma Kate Vaughn (Dalton); 6 great grandchildren: Hensley, Hudson, and Ruthie Rice, Caroline and Hazel Seymour, Hayston Hammock, and Ava Jones; and a cherished sister-in-law: Jeanette Mabe Cornett.
Linda decided on cremation, and private services will be determined at a later date.
