Louis Hinkel Jr., 66, passed away Dec. 31, 2023, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1957, in Oak Park, Illinois.
Louis was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force.
Louis enjoyed building model airplanes, spending time with his daughter, and watching baseball.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Totsie Hinkel; father, Louis Hinkel Sr.; and wife, Kelli Hinkel.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawn Hinkel; sister, Patricia Young; and many nieces and nephews.
The family has chosen cremation.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
