Mark Edward Lautzenheiser, 55, of Sparta, went to be with the Lord, on May 22, 2025.
He was born March 14, 1970, in Canton, Ohio to Geraldine and Gary l. Lautzenheiser.
He graduated from Louisville High School and entered the U.S. Army shortly after graduation.
He returned home, in 1992, and had several jobs. In 1993, he was shot, had a stroke during surgery because of the gun shot, and became paralyzed on his right side.
In 2008, he moved to Tennessee with his parents. He has been involved in Turtle's Bar & Grill for many years with the removal of waste products.
Mark was preceded in death by all his grandparents, Betty and Ralph Lautzenheiser, Ruth and Herb Kiko; his father, Gary L. Lautzenheiser, who passed away in 2011; and his sister, Dawn Marie Lautzenheiser, who passed away in 2022.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Lautzenheiser, of Sparta; siblings and their spouses, Tonya and Michael Heckendorn, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Brian and Jennifer Lautzenheiser, of Delaware, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; along with all his friends at Turtle's Bar & Grill who will miss him, as they looked after him over the past years as his medical condition increased.
No services are going to be held at this time.
